Warranty Policy
All policies and procedures outlined below are to be read as the standard expectation of service and constitute a minimum standard by which JET.TECH Computing operates. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to provide solutions or outcomes that can be considered “better” than or “greater” than this specific standard to our customers. In accordance with any active, governing laws applicable to JET.TECH Computing, we do not reserve the right to provide solutions or outcomes that do not meet the standards outlined below.
JET.TECH Computing Custom Built Systems Warranty
JET.TECH Computing Custom Built Systems have a 1 year labor warranty. Component warranty matches the manufacturer’s warranty, along with their associated policies and procedures, which varies from 1 year to lifetime. If a fault occurs, JET.TECH Computing will cover the costs of returning and replacing the faulty item for the first year. Only faults which are due to manufacturing and assembly will be covered. Only hardware faults are covered, not software, driver, or BIOS problems. Cosmetic damage or wear that does not affect the functionality of the system is not covered. Our systems pass strict testing before they leave our workshop. It is extremely unusual for any problem to arise after this testing unless it is software, driver or BIOS related. This is why it is very important for customers to consult with us before changing any configuration they are unsure of, particularly if it is hardware or BIOS. After 1 year, labor on any warranty claim will be at a rate no greater than the standard labor rate for JET.TECH Computing at the time of warranty claim, minus 25%. This means that we will provide at least a 25% discount on the labor on valid hardware warranty claims outside of the first year. At our sole discretion, we reserve the right to provide a greater discount to said labor on services related to said individual claim. Every JET.TECH Computing System comes with lifetime support. We will be there to provide the advice and support you need.
Warranty is void if the computer is defective due to physical damage, overclocking, or from part modifications from the original order on critical components such as motherboard, processor, CPU cooler, case, or power supply outside of any work performed or expressly authorized by JET.TECH Computing. With notification to the customer, JET.TECH Computing may also use similar products or similar to new products for all repairs to computer systems order if the product first indicated is out of stock. Individual component warranties for components replaced under policies outlined above matches the manufacturer’s stated warranty and associated policies for said components.
JET.TECH Computing Products & Custom Components Warranty
All individual JET.TECH Computing manufactured products, distinguished and separate from custom built systems, have a 5-year warranty from the purchase date. Only products with a manufacturing or assembly fault will be replaced. Customers need to provide the purchase invoice and photos of the issue. We may decide to replace the entire product or only the faulty part. We will usually not request for the product to be returned unless the circumstances are unusual. We provide lifetime support for all products.
Distribution Plates, Waterblocks, and other Acrylic Components
Incorrect fastener tension can cause the acrylic to crack on distribution plates and other acrylic components. If the fastener tension has been changed by the customer, cracks and other damage to the acrylic will not be covered under warranty. Damage from using alcohol, solvents, or other incompatible chemicals to clean the acrylic or in your water-cooling loop will also not be covered under warranty.
